Can my child participate while injured?

No, unfortunately not. If your child is in a cast or is injured a doctor's note is needed before they can return to classes!

How do monthly class payments work?

We charge on the 1st of every month. Each month’s payment includes 4 classes, once per week (unless specified that class frequency is more than once a week). Class length will vary from 1 hour to 2 hours. Your payment is to reserve class placement for that specific class, not to be eligible for any four classes.

What do I do if I am going to miss a class?

Please report a future absence to the office. If you are going to miss a class, please report it in advance by contacting the office or using the report an absence feature on our website.

How do I register for a class?

In order to enroll for classes, you must first have an account created for Victoria Gymnastics Downtown. Once your account has been created, you should be able to view classes online. For accurate and current information on class availability, please email or call the office.

Are there multi-child discounts?

When enrolling three children, the third child’s classes are 10% off. You must remind us, since our software will not automatically do that for us. Children who are enrolled in more than one class receive a multi-class discount. 

Can I switch classes/dates?

You can change your registration to be enrolled at a different day or a different time at any point throughout the season, as long as there is a space available in the class. Your account will be credited or charged, depending on whether the new class is more or less expensive. 

How do your waitlists work?

Waitlists are available for all of our classes and will be worked through in order of waitlist. When offered a class placement from a waitlist you have a maximum of 48 hours to accept the spot before being removed from the waitlist.

Does my enrollment/waitlisted classes roll over to the next season?

No, your enrollment finishes at the end of June, 2024. You will have to re-register for the 2025/2026 season when registration opens

Daycare

Daycares can be offered Monday - Friday, between 9:00 am - 2:45 pm. See daycare program page for pricing and registration information.

Field Trips

Field trips can be booked through a request form on the school trip program page. School trips can be offered Monday - Friday, between 9:00 am - 2:45 pm (subject to coach availability), and one or multiple trips can be booked at once. Pricing per trip is $6.75 + GST per child.

Are there trial classes?

Yes! We encourage trial classes for those looking to join any of our programs. Trial classes for our monthly enrollment programs are $10 + GST and can be scheduled by contacting the office (no more than 7 days in advance). Trial classes do not guarantee future class placement and are not offered Sept. 1-14th.

Are there drop-in classes?

Depending on availability, drop-ins for our classes are available at $25+GST, plus a registration fee for non-members. Students attending 5 or less drop-ins require a casual registration fee of $25+GST (expires August, '25). Students attending over 5 drop-ins must pay the remainder of the annual registration fee of $51.45 (expires August '25). Drop-in classes can be scheduled by contacting the office (no more than 7 days in advance).

Drop-ins for our adult specialty classes are $20 + GST.

How do I pay my registration fee?

Annual Insurance & Registration of $49 (+GST) (expires Aug 31st, '25) is required for all programs and is non-refundable.

Either pay online on Studio Director, or pay via cash/cheque/debit or credit card over the phone or in person during stated office hours

Can I pause my membership?

Your registration is continuous. Unfortunately, we do not pause monthly registration. If your scheduled classes no longer work for your schedule, you may cancel your registration by providing the office with written cancellation and re-enroll at a later date!
